During the week I met some amazing people at our pensioner flats. Here is Arthur & Eileen who have only just moved in a number of months ago, and hadn't originally realised the flats were to be sold till they moved in. They enjoy living there. And take pride in their home
As you may know I was the only councillor to vote against the sale of our 142 pensioner flats. And very disappointed we are divesting of these. In next few weeks Council will be deciding on price, conditions and purchaser. Thus it is very important that we get best possible outcome for future tenants and ratepayers of these important community assets.
