As councillor, I have promoted and actively enabled many local and international events in the Nelson region (BayDreams, All Blacks vs Argentina, International Cricket, Matariki festival etc).
Bay Dreams have just announced their artist line up for coming to Trafalgar Park & Trafalgar Centre on Jan 4th 2020. This event puts a huge smile on my face, as another successful outcome of my committee pushing to get such an event here in Nelson. It has successfully put Nelson Trafalgar Venues on the international and national music promoters radar and adds huge injection to our local economy and festivities during that week.
