Arguably Nelson’s most active, accessible and experienced Councillor

𝙈𝙮 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙉𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙣:

And I have been very consistent on each of these, since on Council:

1) 𝗪𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘁

And as I have said again and again, current rate increases are not sustainable.

2) 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

Ensure our infrastructure is maintained, improved and prioritised over unnecessary vanity projects, and political party driven ideology.

3) 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴.

I have a proven track record of working hard for this community both as a city Councillor and outside of Council.

I have stood strong on social justice issues.

Stood strong on my principles, stood strong on what I believe is best for the wellbeing of our community. Even when I have been a sole voice at the table.

I’ve never backed down on asking or answering the tough questions. I have never been dictated by any political party agenda.

And have always put our Nelson Community needs first.

𝘽𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮

Biggest challenge facing this city, is still housing affordability and availability.

I want to make sure Nelson is the best place to live and grow a family, and for local businesses to thrive.

I’ve been very blessed to be at the Council table, and very thankful for the broad support I get from the community.

And have never taken that for granted.
